The mini-bottle brigade

Since January 2015, our maternity unit has joined a waste collection programme called "The Mini Baby Bottle Brigade", which enables us to collect and recycle used mini baby bottles. The mini-bottles collected are transformed into new products such as recycled public benches. By joining this collection scheme, we have the opportunity to take concrete action for our planet by showing that it can be simple to adopt eco-responsible gestures in the workplace.

We are working with two recycling companies

• On the one hand, each box of used mini-bottles that we send to TERRACYCLE generates points that will be converted into donations paid each year to the association of our choice. We have chosen the MAMAN BLUES association: one mini-bottle collected earns 2 euro cents.
• In addition, the mini-bottles that we recycle with PAPREC are used to make highchairs, sandboxes and car seats. Our involvement in this initiative has already resulted in the manufacture of 17 car seats!
