Clinic and Maternity Unit

The Sainte-Thérèse Maternity Hospital is a private establishment under agreement.

Located in the heart of the 17th arrondissement of Paris, its activities focus on women, with pregnancy monitoring, childbirth and gynaecological surgery.

The hospital offers two types of activity:

• The level I family maternity unit, which is authorised to provide level II care, has a dynamic multi-disciplinary team that meets the needs of the hospital's specialities: diagnosis, care and treatment.
  Around 1,100 births are carried out here every year.

The Maternité Sainte-Thérèse is authorised to provide you with neonatal paediatric care, should your newborn child's state of health require it.

This is made possible under an agreement with the Agence Régionale de Santé, thanks to an appropriate professional presence 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, to avoid separating mother and child in the event of minor ailments.

• Gynaecological surgery: around 1,000 operations are carried out each year.

All of the Maternity Unit's staff work to continuously improve quality and safety, within an ethical framework that ensures family care.

The entire medical, paramedical, technical and administrative team is at your disposal to ensure your safety and well-being.

An obstetrician-gynaecologist and an anaesthetist-intensive care doctor are on site 24 hours a day. Paediatricians are on site Monday to Friday, on call at weekends, and are present for all deliveries under 37 weeks.

As part of the medical excellence initiative launched by the Almaviva Santé group. As soon as it was acquired in June 2016, the Maternité Sainte Thérèse embarked on a major investment plan, constantly acquiring more advanced equipment and modernising itself.

The Maternité Sainte Thérèse is committed to a healthy environment and promotes Made in France: the Maternité Sainte Thérèse has been awarded the Maternys label, in conjunction with the CNGOF.

It is committed to the Baby-Friendly Hospital Initiative (BFHI ). The Maternity Unit is committed to environmental health, to ensure that newborn babies are welcomed in a peaceful environment. The Maternity Unit is a partner of Mother Nature.

The Maternity Unit offers mothers and their babies a welcome gift that we select from Made in France: changing kit, bibs.

We have a blood depot and the possibility of transfusing blood without delay.
