Indicators for the quality and safety of care - IQSS

Since 2008, the HAS has been collecting data and information from all healthcare establishments to provide a picture of the level of quality and safety achieved. These indicators relate to the proper management of patient records, reflecting the quality and coordination of care as part of a multi-professional and multi-disciplinary approach, with particular emphasis on pain management and the information provided to ensure continuity of care.

There are also specialised indicators for the Maternity Unit, focusing on preventing the risk of post-partum haemorrhage, and indicators for combating nosocomial infections (TBIN -Tableau de Bord de la Lutte contre les Infections Nosocomiales).
