The services of the Sainte Thérèse Clinic

Accompanying person

After approval by your doctor, if you are in a private room and depending on the department's availability, one of your family members may stay with you overnight. You must request this on admission or in the hospital ward before 3.30pm. Rates will be given to you by the admissions department.

Families from far away wishing tostay near theclinic can ask the receptionist for a list of nearby hotels.

Ambulance service

As with the hospital, please note that ambulance transport is at your own expense.

Animals

Pets are not allowed on the premises.

Anonymity

When you are admitted, you can request that your presence not be disclosed.

Money, jewellery and valuables

In accordance with article L.1113-1 et seq. of the public health code, the law of 6 July 1992 and the decree of 27 March 1993, the management strongly recommends that you do not bring any money, jewellery or other valuables with you during your stay.

The clinic declines all responsibility in the event of theft or disappearance.

However, a small safe is available in your room.

Calm

You must respect the rest of other patients, just as they must respect yours.

Religious beliefs

Respect for the freedom of conscience and practice of hospitalised patients is a fundamental rule. A list of ministers of religion is available at reception.

Vending machines

There are vending machines for drinks and sweets in the clinic's entrance hall.

Flowers

To comply with hygiene standards, cut flowers and potted plants are not permitted in our establishment.

Hygiene

Personal hygiene is a barrier against this risk in hospital. Frequent and rigorous hand washing is one of the most important personal hygiene measures.

The effectiveness of these hygiene measures also depends on your participation and that of your visitors.

The hospital is organised to prevent the risk of infection. This organisation is based on bothan infectious risk and antibiotics committee and an operational hygiene team. It enables the implementation of actions to prevent and monitor infections occurring in the establishment. This surveillance work includes epidemiological surveys, in whichpatients aresometimes asked to participate.User representatives are invited to regular meetings of the Infectious Risk and Antibiotics Committee.

Languages and dialects

The Clinique Saint Thérèse has a wide range of cultures, and its multilingual staff are on hand to help you.

Health insurance

Before you are admitted, contact your mutual insurance company to find out about the various services covered by your contract. It is essential that you bring your mutual insurance cover with you on the day of your arrival.

Nursery

A nursery is available on your floor for washing and changing your baby. Nursery assistants are available 24 hours a day to advise you.

Parking

There is no parking available at the clinic.

Dentures, hearing aids and glasses

Tell the nursing staff if you wear any dental or hearing aids to avoid any incidents (loss or breakage), particularly during anaesthesia.

Hotel service

A hotel team, under the responsibility of a housekeeper, ensures the hygiene of our premises and the distribution of meals during your stay.

Meals

If you have a special diet, please inform the nursing staff as soon as you arrive in your room.

  • Breakfast : between 8am and 8.30am
  • Lunch : between 12pm and 12.30pm
  • Snack : between 3pm and 3.15pm
  • Dinner : between 6.15pm and 6.45pm

Fire safety

All current fire safety regulations are complied with in our establishment. Instructions are posted in communal areas. For your own safety, please read them carefully. In all situations, it is important to remain calm and follow the instructions of staff trained in this type of incident.

Social services

Contact details for the Protection Maternelle et Infantile (PMI) and other social services in the district are available at the clinic reception desk.

Tobacco

As of 1 February 2007, and in accordance with decree no. 2006-1386 of 15/11/2006, smoking is strictly prohibited in the clinic, including waiting rooms and bedrooms.

Taxi

The receptionist can arrange a taxi for you at any time.

Television

All rooms have televisions. To use the television, simply make a request when you are admitted, subject to a deposit for the remote control and a charge of €10/day.

Visits

Visits are authorised from 1pm to 6pm, although with certain restrictions depending on the patient's state of health.

You may refuse visits. Please bear in mind that visits that are too long or too frequent can tire you and your baby out, and that it is in your interest and that of your room-mates to ask your visitors not to come in too large numbers and to be discreet.

The number of visitors should be limited. For your own peace of mind, we advise you to limit the number of visitors.
